The Lafayette Street Extension project is still on track for construction in 2012. The finished roadway will provide improved access connecting from Creagor Street to Industrial Park Drive. The project development to date includes design of the roadway along with submittal of the required Environmental Documentation. Watch for information regarding a Public Hearing in January 2012 that will offer the opportunity to see the planned improvements and share comments with the City and Engineering representatives.

North Side Sewer

The project Phases have now been determined to separate the combined sewers in the defined boundary of the north side area. The project is now in the stages of determining the best approach to implementation and funding for these improvements. Watch for notice of the Public meetings to be scheduled in December and January that will allow residents the opportunity to ask questions and understand the project facts and scheduling for the improvement with construction anticipated to begin 2012.
